Superbowl of China

Before summer began, i've been jotting down tons of notes. specifically, i've been 

researching about restaurants in manila and i've been

obsessed and excited at the same time, onto which restaurants i should try. 

and Superbowl of China was included in my bucket list. so yeah, 

i was pretty excited.

for my appetizer i ordered Hakao

4 pcs. (130.00 php)

this one. i loved!! it's very succulent and as you chew it thoroughly. you can really taste the 

awesomeness of the shrimp, unlike the others all you can taste is dough.

next up is their famous Yang Chow Fried Rice (220.00 php)

tasted like, your typical average fried rice.

i didn't taste this one, because i don't eat pork that much.

this tasted really bland for me. i didn't like it and i didn't hate it.

Wanton and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup (230.00 php)

i didn't taste this one.

Crispy Fish Fillet with Lemon and Plum Sauce (250.00 php)

this was pretty good, although the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste, 

but overall i like it.

Golden Shanghai Chicken (240.00 php)

this one was really hard to chew and i couldn't swallow it, so i just spitted it out.

so i guess i'd rate it.

overall the food was average, i expected too much, and the staff here sucks, they'd better learn how to respect their customers.

Blackbeard's Seafood Island

Last Summer we roamed around mall of asia, we couldn't really choose any food joints inside the mall so we decided to go by the bay. and we discovered this lovely place. and we really liked it here. so my sister decided to treat her friends and our parents here, after our visit to star city. 

i think this is Magellan's Landing:

danggit chips,kinilaw na tanigue,grilled tilapia, grilled squid,

grilled shrimps, steamed crabs,chicken inasal,,grilled talong and

bagoong rice.

Palawan Shores

grilled shrimps, tahong , halaan, squid , tilapia ,

steamed crabs, grilled corn, lato, ginisang kangkong sa bagoong with 

clams meat rice

this was our boodle :) , it wasn't that bad. i didn't like it that much either.

Bigg's Diner: The Biggest Food Chain in The Bicol Region

First of all Happy New Year to all!!

i haven't been posting for a while, because i was lazy and the internet here is just horrific. 

anyways.

Bigg's Diner is your typical fast food joint, although their quote says

"we're good food, not fast food"

it's pretty much the same for me. 

well enough of that, time for the food:

first up is California Tuna Sandwich (68.00 php)

 just your typical white bread, smothered with butter on the outside and mayo & hints of tuna in the inside.

i've always wanted to try this, and when i finally got the chance to try it.

it was just a sad day for me.

the stupid fish tasted bland and boring and it was really hard to chew.
